L510BB MQB HYBRID
Based on the same reliable ball bearing pack we have run in the L560 , the L510BB is an upgrade from the L480 journal bearing turbo.
Using the same size compressor wheel as the L480 but in a 7+7 design a custom turbine wheel, this unit offers the performance of a 500bhp hybrid but the spool of a smaller turbo.
We have rated this turbo at 500bhp where as the L500 will make considerably more, the L510BB is optimised to make it’s peak power at 500bhp and around 2bar.
